I found Sophie abandoned at a gas station in August of 2015. She was matted, and laying down looking so sad right by a gas pump! I approached everyone closely asking if she was there’s, and someone told me they just saw a couple drive in, put her out of the car, and took off. I nearly cried! I approached her carefully and she instantly rolled over and I rubbed her belly, I picked her up, and she was mine. I took her to the vet, and the vet said she was relatively healthy and about 6 months to a year old. I got her groomed, had all her shots, and took her home. She was sweet and eager to please from the beginning and we’ve been together ever since! Her favorite pastime is to play with her Kong balls and begging me to throw them, even 10 years later! She loves whip cream (who doesn’t???) and sometimes gets some tasty bits of French fries in the drive through when she’s with me. She’s not just my pet, she’s my precious baby and I hope we have another great decade together! ❤ 😊
