Pets can develop many of the same eye conditions that people do. 👁️🐾

Some of the most common include cataracts, glaucoma, corneal ulcers, dry eye, and eyelid abnormalities. These conditions can affect your pet’s comfort and vision, but early diagnosis and treatment from a veterinary ophthalmologist can help protect their eye health.

If you notice redness, discharge, squinting, or changes in your pet’s vision, it may be time for an eye exam.

🐱 Did You Know?

A cat’s pupils can change from narrow slits to large circles depending on light levels. This helps protect their sensitive eyes and improves their ability to hunt in different lighting conditions.
