Stibbs & Co. enjoyed attending the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce June Luncheon, which featured a special celebration of America 250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence. Attendees enjoyed an engaging presentation by local historian and former Houston-area judge Tom Lawrence, who shared a unique historical perspective on the role of colonial business owners in shaping America’s path to nationhood. Having served for more than three decades as a Harris County Justice of the Peace, Lawrence brought both historical knowledge and leadership experience to his presentation. His insights highlighted valuable lessons in leadership, entrepreneurship, and perseverance that continue to resonate with businesses today.
