SignalGate And The Danger Of Digital Breadcrumbs 03/29/2025

Signal Messenger: A Powerful Tool—But Not A Magic Bullet 03/28/2025

Signal Messenger: A Powerful Tool—But Not A Magic Bullet Signal is a powerful encrypted messaging app, but it’s not infallible. Learn why it’s great for privacy—yet risky for sensitive or classified communications.

It's bad enough that cabinet members and government officials are taking part in a group chat on Signal, orchestrating the military ex*****on of a single target with 50+ other people killed as collateral damage. But, to further highlight their gross incompetence, it seems that the conversation was not configured to automatically disappear- one of the key features of Signal.

Perhaps it is/was, and they just chose the "4 weeks" option, but it seems like Jeffrey Goldberg would not have been able to access the messages after the fact if they had configured them to disappear after an hour or 5 minutes.

However, an important question to ask is, "If THIS discussion occurred on Signal, what other government communications are occurring on unauthorized consumer platforms and are not being document or archived as part of the official record?"

DOGE and the Death of Congressional Oversight The Impoundment Control Act of 1974 emerged from a clear need to curb presidential overreach. President Nixon had repeatedly set aside…

We Hold the Keys to Our Own Chains 02/17/2025

The balance of power is an illusion that we perpetuate. Inequality isn’t natural—it’s engineered.

The 1% thrive on a system rigged in their favor, but their power is a charade. The 99% build, create, and sustain everything.

What happens if we simply stop playing by their rules?

We Hold the Keys to Our Own Chains By definition, the 1% only exists because the 99% do. In the United States, the 1% — roughly 3.3 million people — control over 32% of the…
