The LORD warned us in Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, “LORD, LORD”, will enter the kingdom of heaven…”

While I do not know what kind of church you may go to and have no right to judge any church or any preacher, I can confidently say that not all churches stand steadfastly for the Word of God. The Word is pure and holy, but humans are not. Churches are led by imperfect people therefore no church is perfect. But we have been given an infallible Guide in the Holy Spirit, and a written document impossible for men to produce without Divine direction.

Unfortunately, many interpret the Bible based on our human perception of who God is and what we want Him to be, not what God says about Himself and what His actions prove through the ages and through the life of Jesus Christ. In our quest to be humane, we fail to be Godly, forgetting that we cannot be both. Isaiah 55:8-9 said, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and my ways are not your ways, says the LORD.” Therefore, we must choose. Do we follow God or our humanity?

If you feel in your heart that the church where you are at the moment is no longer suitable at your present level of intimacy and maturity as a follower of Christ, perhaps it is time to seek the next place God would have you continue your journey with Him.
