Here are our new Spina Bifida Awareness shirts! $15 if you want plain vinyl and $20 if you want glitter. You can't tell in the picture, but mine and Ruthie's shirts have the prettiest glitter vinyl on them.

Get them asap and show your support.

This weekend's makes. Some WTAMU shirts for a customer, and a custom orchestra teacher mask.

Great news! We will be offering black masks as well as white! Let me know if I can create something for you! 😁

It has been a while since I have posted about myself and our family.

I wanted to say thank you to all of our wonderful customers lately. When you purchase from us you are directly supporting our family, and we appreciate it. 🥰

My name is Alex Jackson and my husband's name is Luke Jackson. We are both middle school orchestra directors in Klein ISD. We have 2 beautiful children. Ruth Anne is 4 and is into dance and music, and our sweet boy, Nolan, will be 9 months this week.

Nolan is extra special because he is not only our rainbow 🌈 baby, but he also has Spina Bifida. Spina Bifida is a birth defect that affects the spine. Specifically, he had a mylomenengocele at his L5 vertebra. His back was open and his spina chord and fluid were inside a membrane at birth.

He did not qualify for fetal surgery, so he had his closure surgery the day after he was born. Dr. William Whitehead with Texas Childrens Neurosurgery is an angel in our books. He saved our sweet boy's life and gave him the gift of hope.

Spina Bifida is called a snowflake ❄ condition because every case is different. We have been blessed that he has not developed hydrocephalus and he does not have to cath currently. We are blessed to have a wide network of prayer warriors who call on God for Nolan, and God has been good to us.

Currently our finances are being stretched to the max. The insurance year just started over, Nolan now needs custom orthodics (so he can start walking!!), and poor Ruthie is needing some major dental work done. We are faithful that God will provide, and we appreciate all of you who support us. 🥰

Have a blessed day and a restful weekend.

Made some masks this weekend as well. I am loving how these turned out! Hit me up if you want a mask for child's bus driver. I was so in love with this teacher mask, I just had to make one for myself!
