Meet Miss Layla 🐾✨

This 7–8 month old Basenji/Carolina Dog mix just started her Board & Train journey with us!

Layla’s got a lot of personality packed into that little body — now it’s about helping her channel it in the right direction 💪

We’ll be working on:
• Jumping
• Listening & following through on commands
• Building confidence (she can be a bit nervous/skittish)
• Reducing growling & barking

With pups like Layla, it’s all about creating structure while also helping them feel more secure and confident in their environment 🙌

She’s got so much potential — now we just guide her and help her understand the world a little better 💖

Meet Oscar 🐾

Oscar is a 7-year-old mixed breed who came to us yesterday for an emergency Board & Train.

His family is preparing for a big move, and with his current behaviors, they knew they needed help — and fast.

We’ll be working through:
• Aggression towards dogs & strangers
• Loud, reactive barking (especially at the front door)
• Leash control — he’s very strong and difficult to handle
• Building safer, more manageable behaviors overall

Oscar has already had an incident, so our focus is not just obedience — it’s safety, structure, and clear communication.

Dogs like Oscar aren’t “bad dogs” — they’re dogs that need the right guidance, boundaries, and consistency to understand how to navigate the world differently.

This is the start of a serious reset for him 💪

We’re taking it one step at a time — and we’re here to help him and his family move forward safely.
