I am so happy to share....A local NJ author who has two sons on the autism spectrum, who recently published a children’s book entitled "Look at What I CAN Do"
"Look at What I Can Do" by Iliana Leavitt is a beautifully written and accessible children’s book that helps siblings and peers better understand autism by highlighting strengths, differences, and unique ways of learning. The story follows a child with autism and emphasizes that while they may do things differently, they also have many meaningful abilities and perspectives to share💙

If you have or know a child with autism, this is a must-read 💙
A beautiful book that helps kids understand different ways of thinking and learning.

🌿 The Best Medicine: Playing Outside 🌿

In a world filled with screens, schedules, and constant stimulation, something simple still works wonders for children’s mental health: outdoor play.

When children spend time outside they experience:

☀️ Improved mood
🧠 Reduced anxiety and stress
💤 Better sleep
💚 Increased creativity and focus
🤝 Stronger social skills

Nature naturally supports a child’s nervous system. Running, climbing, exploring, and unstructured play help regulate emotions and release built-up energy.

Sometimes the most powerful intervention isn’t a prescription — it’s fresh air, sunshine, and space to play.

Let kids be kids.
Let them run.
Let them explore.
Let them play outside. 🌳

Because happy kids often start with time in nature.
