According to figures released by the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development this week, domestic travel to Cumberland County generated $450.11 million in expenditures in 2011 – a 7.8% increase from 2010. We love all of our tourists and they love coming here!

Spring Lake -- Freedom now has a Base Camp! Spring Lake shares our love of freedom, which makes it a great base camp for families, visitors and businesses alike. Not to mention there’s a lot of things to do around here.

Parents! Bring your children (ages 2-5 years old!) to the Spring Lake Branch Public Library and enjoy stories and activities based on Norman Bridwell's popular series and meet Clifford the Big Red Dog! The event is this Thursday at 11:00 AM. Registration is required by calling 497-3650.
