It was either the 8 stair or the 3 block and I thought for some reason the 3 block would be easier because it was shorter but after the first day of 25 slams and not even landing on my board I realized I had to stay in the air longer for the 3 block than I would have for the 8 stair but it was too late. I already made up in my mind that I was taking on that 3 block and after a broken board I got a new deck and went back for day 2 of another 25 slams this time getting closer and closer to landing it until I broke my cane and told my wife that I better land this one cause my cane is broken and then boom I landed it and having so many little homies there to share the accomplishment with me was such an incredible feeling. Actually that’s what makes Woodward, Woodward and it’s a feeling I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Also wear a helmet cause it saved me a few of those falls can’t say the same for my back but we did it and that’s skateboarding baby

It may not seem like a big deal to be able to make a box of mac and cheese for my kid but when you take into consideration all the steps written on the box that I am unable to read on my own it makes a lot more sense to have .AI there to help me navigate each step and remember them for me as we go. It’s a back and forth conversation where I don’t have to keep repeating myself and I can flow through the steps of something that seems so simple to others. It’s now that simple for me. Thank you so much for helping me make a simple meal, simple again!

I didn’t realize how helpful it was to have light perception in this situation the dark boarders of the course paired with the sun blaring on the white concrete made it easier for me to navigate than when I was in total darkness. And this is why I hate it when the sun goes down or being indoors cause there’s no chance of any contrast it’s a constant adjustment in my day to day hour by hour of what situation I’ll be in at any given moment. After all blindness is a wild and crazy spectrum 🏎️

More often than not restaurants are unable to keep up with having a Braille menu available. A lot of times I try and read them with my phone and it makes me listen to every single item and can’t remember anything so I feel so lost. Thank to Meta AI I can ask for specific categories and have only those read. Plus if I forget something they remember for me so I can ask for a reminder and make sure I lock in on exactly what I want to order without asking another human to read all the items for me. This is a new level of independence in restaurants that I have been waiting for my entire life! Meta
