Not only is it great to see the VFW as a National organization defending our benefits as well as future veterans benefits. I love that we are represented in Washington in part by members of North Carolina, members of District 8, and members of our dear post! You make us all proud knowing you are there on our behalf, speaking to the legislation and protecting the benefits so many have and continue to fight for!

Happening now: VFW Jr. Vice Commander Glenn Umberger Jr., Washington Office Executive Director Ryan Gallucci and National Legislative Service Associate Director Joy Craig are attending the House Rules Committee meeting with a delegation from the VFW Department of North Carolina as discussions continue on the Take Care of America's Veterans Act.
