Quincy is a happy, handsome 2-year-old, 66-pound Lab with a puppy's heart and a smile that will brighten every day. After a rough start in life, he's left the past behind and is embracing everything a dog should love—especially toys! In fact, you'll usually find him proudly carrying one wherever he goes.
Quincy is affectionate, thinks he's a lap dog, and loves to be close to his people. He's mostly house-trained, enjoys his crate as a safe space, and is quickly mastering basic training. Smart and eager to learn, he's already learned "sit" and "down" and is making great progress on leash walking.

He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, though his enthusiasm can be a bit boisterous. Because of his size and puppy energy, he'd do best with children 7 years and older. His experience with cats is unknown.

Quincy is looking for a home where he won't be left alone for long periods and where patience, love, and continued guidance will help him blossom into an incredible lifelong companion. Since the very beginning of Sunshine State Labrador Rescue, Patrice & Mark have generously given their time as both foster volunteers and transporters.

Then Mocha came into their lives.

This sweet girl entered SSLR after being surrendered by a family who no longer had time for her. While in their care, Mocha celebrated her 5th birthday—and along the way, she completely stole Patrice & Mark’s hearts.

When it came time for Mocha to find her adoptive family, they realized they couldn’t imagine letting her go.

Congratulations to Patrice & Mark on making Mocha an official member of the family, and congratulations to Mocha on finding the loving home she so deserves. Thank you both for everything you do for the dogs of SSLR! 🐾💗
