🌡️As we move into warmer weather, the risk of lawn damaging disease will begin to rise.

🦠 Summer Patch is one of the first diseases to show up as soil temperatures creep above 65 degrees.

🌱 It can be hard to identify at first as it attacks the root system and rhizomes of the plant. It primarily affects bluegrass in lawns and is distinguishable by the "frog eye" appearance as shown above.

🏡 For our clients vulnerable to this disease, we have proactively applied their first Disease Prevention Treatment.

If you notice this or any other irregular discoloration or browning in your lawn, feel free to reach out to us for proper diagnosis and treatment before it does any further damage.

🌱 Our lawns have truly experienced all 4 seasons this week. They've been warm, they've froze, they've been wind whipped and are soon to heat up with 90 degree days in the forecast.

💦 Providing your lawn with a little moisture to help combat early season stress as well as mowing off some freeze damaged grass tips will help your lawn through this roller coaster start to the season.

🏡 Also, if your Pre-Emergent treatment hasn't been rained or watered in yet, a little moisture will help water it in as needed.

🌻As a 6th generation Kansas family, our roots run deep in the Sunflower State. We are much more than a local company. We know the land, we know the weather and most importantly, we know the soil your lawn is growing in.

🦬 Being born and raised in Kansas is also a big reason we named our company after the state animal, The American Bison.

🏡We are proud to call Kansas home and proud to serve the citizens of this state.
