Our recent OBLS certification is just one example of our ongoing commitment to advanced training and preparedness.

Serving a district that blends both suburban and rural areas, boasting water-related activities and other outdoor recreation requires a diverse set of skills. Our personnel maintain advanced training in technical rescue specialties including swift water, high angle, cave and confined space, and subsurface water rescues, as well as Tactical Emergency Casualty Care and wildland firefighting.

No matter the emergency, we are committed to being prepared when our community needs us most.

We are proud to announce that we have become the first Fire & EMS agency in the United States to achieve Obstetric Life Support (OBLS) certification.

Led by Lt. Benjamin Sutton, a National OBLS Faculty member, more than 80% of our workforce completed this advanced maternal emergency training program.

This certification strengthens our ability to respond to critical pregnancy-related emergencies and reflects our commitment to providing the highest level of care to our community.
