It’s ’s last week at . Honestly, I've put this off as long as I possibly could, because Bulverde Market Day has become one of my favorite places on earth.
We’ve reached the point where we can’t bake for both the market and the bakery anymore. You’ll find us Thursday - Saturday from 9 to 2 every week at the bakery, but Bulverde Market Day will always feel like home.
Let’s talk about Bulverde Market Day for a minute — the absolutely beautiful environment that Ashley has created is so deeply special.
Since September of 2023, I've been setting up there every two weeks and have developed rich friendships and meaningful relationships that are unlike any other. Bulverde Market Day gave us our first loyal customers, our community, and the confidence to keep going.
When I set up that first table in September of 2023, I would never have imagined that, less than three years later, I'd be setting up my final table at the market. Not because the business failed, but because the opportunity that Ashley has created, the market community, its vendors, and our loyal customers have made it possible to grow into our brick-and-mortar bakery home.
I really believe that the long-term health and success of our community depends on shopping at places like Bulverde Market Day and supporting our small local food producers and small businesses. We would not be where we are now without Bulverde Market Day, and I am more grateful than I can possibly put into words.
The way that y’all have shown up week after week after week and continued to allow me to be your local baker has blessed me and my family in ways that I cannot possibly thank you enough for.
I meandered down memory lane a little bit and am sharing a few of our booth setups from the last couple of years, starting with that very first table with about 20 loaves of bread. Maybe you see a table that you remember shopping from!
Come on out to the market tomorrow from 9-2 to grab your sourdough favorites and support the other vendors, and then come visit us next week at the bakery for your sourdough fix. We can't wait to welcome you in!

So so many incredible people have been a part of bringing to life over the past several months. For International Women’s Day, I’m tagging just a handful of the incredible woman-owned businesses that were a part of our ribbon cutting this past Friday!
• The stunning florals that graced our tables were from Janet .rose.floral. I cannot get over her talent!
• The photos on the wall were taken by in my home bakery space last year. It’s so special to have the connection to my beginnings in this space. Yvette is an artist with her camera, and the way she captures woman business owners is unmatched.
• .and.co is the genius behind the interior design of the bakery. I had a scattered vision, and Kristi connected all of the dots, creating a space that feels welcoming, whimsical, and grown-up. Her gift for understanding her clients on a truly personal level is her magic ingredient, and she blows me away with the spaces she creates!
• Many of my sweet sisters have been a part of supporting this bakery, and we got a picture with a few on Friday! It was so special to have , .and.co, .designs, and at the ribbon cutting!
• On a whim, I stopped by on Thursday, even though I already had a dress for the event. I found this dress, and it was quite literally made for . I cannot get over how perfect it is!
• And thank you to for snapping a photo of this tired, grateful baker. This week was such a whirlwind, and my heart is so full! 💙

We’re excited to celebrate our ribbon cutting with the on Friday!
