- Keep your pets inside
- Give them access to lots of cool water
- Only walk them early morning or early evening when it is cooler
- Check the temperature of the asphalt to protect their paws
- If you have to go out, leave them at home enjoying the air conditioning
- And if you think you pet might be suffering from heat stroke, get them to a vet immediately
