Loving the work more than the applause !! Constant reminder that the ribbons don't make the rider, the rides do. Unbelievably proud of my riders this weekend as we went out once again to play horse show. 😂😵‍💫

Second day of camp in the books!! Thank you all who signed up and participated. We got great feed back and may offer another two day in the fall !!

Couple new faces around Great Scot Riding & Training this week!! Always fun getting new ones started. Solid foundation is what the young ones need to thrive. Kendra Sullivan brought her young, handsome Gypsy boy to play today. And one of my young riders, Grace got started with her young pony, Sunny ☀️ he's a chunk of a guy and for three years old he was the goodest boy.

When your lesson board is void of lessons running, instead your workers use it as a drawing board of what they want to be doing 🤣🤣 instead we are melting trying to keep these animals we love so much, comfortable !!
But real talk is this my Great Scot Riding & Training peeps: we work much more than the average riding school year round because we have the indoor arena. So when many have to cancel due to rain or snow or what have you, we are plugging along 💪 so I know y'all hate missing lessons and saddle time but the well-being of the unicorns and your old trainer who is not having any days off, I'm actually working harder in this weather, take this time to go swimming for me or go see a movie in the air conditioning !! The unicorns are getting night turnout right now and in under their fans during the morning and afternoon. Lots of electrolytes and vetrolin showers happening.
