Unfortunately I've moved out of the neighborhood/area and am no longer doing computer repair. The only other computer repair I'm aware of outside of the Geek Squad is Heart and Soul Computer.

Just performed hardware upgrades on two older Macbook Pros (i.e., mid-2010s) for the Proctors. The systems were incredibly lethargic beforehand. After upgrading these Macbooks with SSDs (Solid State Drives), 8GBs of RAM and new batteries, along with my MacOS tune-up procedures, they are both incredibly responsive and ready for many more years of continued productivity! Even if you want to get a new Mac/PC, you may want to consider HW upgrades to your existing older Mac as its not a big investment to keep it around as a second computer (e.g., for the kids, for your spouse, general use around the house); however, the performance increases are such that you may think twice about plunking down the $cash$ for a new Macbook!

A reminder, Microsoft is discontinuing free upgrades to Windows 10 (i.e., from Windows 7 ONLY) after 07/29/2016! After this date, expect Windows 10 Home edition to retail for ~$120. If you are entertaining upgrading, this is the time to do it! If computer DIY is not your thing, I am offering my services to upgrade and tune-up your system...
