Another stand mixer back in working order. This unit hasn't been working on since it was new in the early 2000's. Always very satisfying whenever we get the opportunity to save another from the landfill.

This stand mixer should be good for another 1-5 years, depending on use, before the grease and seal will need to be changed.

"What are those bubbles on that metal?"

Anytime we install a part that has to do with gas, we use a bubble solution to verify no gas leaks are present.

Gas appliances can be a little scary when they aren't working properly. This unit had a broken k**b, so they couldn't turn the gas off. After a new gas valve was installed it now works like it should!

Recently we were able to save another stand mixer! Stand mixers should have their grease changed out every 1-5 years depending on how often it gets used. Changing grease often helps the machine t last longer and help prevent grease from leaking into your baking goods!
