The Bethany Project is so inspiring. We need more of this is Spokane. Kudos to all who made this a reality.

Why I’m running…

10/15/2025

I’m working to bridge the divide.

I’ve met with business groups, neighbors, and community leaders across Spokane because real solutions take everyone at the table.

Team Telis Tuesday: Jennyfer Mesa, Community Organizer and Founder of Latinos en Spokane

ā€œIn just a few weeks, voters will determine the future of Spokane. We can choose whether to follow the national trend of increasing criminalization of low-income people and deregulation that benefits wealthy individuals and special-interest groups, or to choose leaders who are invested in smart, community-led solutions to strengthen our local economy, diversify housing, and increase public health and safety.

That’s why I’m proudly endorsing Kate Telis for City Council. Kate is an authentic leader backed by Spokane leaders, unions, environmental and multicultural groups, current and former elected officials, and grassroots organizers like me. I encourage Spokane—especially our Latino and immigrant communities -to support Kate Telis for City Council. She stands for ALL Spokane residents, not just the wealthy few.ā€ - Jennyfer Mesa

PSA: the Spokane Business Association was created in 2024 by millionaire Larry Stone (also my opponent’s employer.) SBA was founded to be a lobbying group for conservative business interests (and promote conservative candidates) because Downtown Spokane Partnership and Greater Spokane International continue to work on these solutions in a bipartisan fashion, working for a balanced approach that doesn’t bus or jail people with nowhere else to go. šŸŒˆāļø PLEASE SHARE - VOTERS DESERVE TO KNOW THE TRUTH.
