FBH Program Highlight: Expanded Community Services (ECS) supports adults living in residential facilities and adult family homes who are living with serious and persistent mental illness. Through behavioral nursing support, psychiatric medication management, crisis prevention, care coordination, and collaboration with residential providers and DSHS, the ECS team helps clients remain stable in the community while improving their overall quality of life.
Although the team is small, their impact is felt every day through compassionate, person-centered care that meets people where they are.

As Jan Downing, our Chief Operating Officer, celebrates her final day at Frontier Behavioral Health, she wanted to share one last message with the staff, clients, and community she has proudly served for the past 46 years 💙
Today, we celebrate Jan’s retirement and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. After 46 years of dedicated service to community behavioral health, Jan leaves behind a legacy of compassion, leadership, and advocacy that has touched countless lives. Throughout her career, she transformed challenges into opportunities and helped turn possibilities into reality—a legacy that will continue to inspire us for years to come.
Thank you, Jan, for your unwavering commitment to our staff, clients, and community. Frontier Behavioral Health has been stronger because of your leadership, and we will carry forward your dedication, passion, and vision as we continue this important work. Please join us in wishing Jan a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement!
