God can do so much with just a moment in his presence. He can speak and shape and transform and heal, with just a touch of his Spirit. Moments of worship or moments of prayer or moments of silence before the Lord are so impactful. These are the moments we long for when we gather on Sundays. This is why we worship, why we pray, why we come before the Lord…to be near him, to experience him, to love him, to know him. Let’s pray that these kinds of moments happen as students go to camp this week. Let’s pray that God would meet them in a powerful way. Let’s pray the Holy Spirit would heal wounds and transform lives. Let’s pray for our students all week long - they leave on Sunday and are going to be forever changed.

Sunday is going to be such an opportunity to press into Jesus together. My close friend Chris Lauri, who pastors a church in Coeur D’ Alene will be here preaching. We dreamt of planting churches together 25 years ago when we were in college and never dreamt that the Holy Spirit would allow us this opportunity to be doing ministry in the same area together. Also our good friend and former worship pastor, Leighton and his wife Lindsey are going to be leading worship this weekend. It will be so powerful.

I can’t wait to see what Jesus does as we gather tomorrow!!

Monday. Breathe in His presence.

Matthew 6:27-30
And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
