A few days ago, I did a session on a human client (that has since also become a friend). They had just received the news of their mother’s passing.
Having been estranged for several years, and dealing with emotional abuse for decades before that, my client, understandably had some very strong, as well as, confused emotions.
We set up a session for a few day’s away.
The session, even though it was from a distance (like all sessions right now) felt deep and profound. With their permission, I am sharing their words...

“Last Friday I had a 'Healing Touch' session with my friend, Diane Johnson Garwood who has been doing Healing Touch on me and my animals for a few years now. Sometimes, aside from just body/energy healing, interesting things happen. This was one of those times. Since Diane moved to Spokane she still works on me and the animals from a distance and I FaceTime with her for the session. She usually has her chair in the same spot with a mostly blank wall behind her but this time it was in a different spot and I was really drawn almost the entire session to a quilt hanging on the wall behind her that had a large pink diamond shape in it. I just could not take my eyes off that pink diamond. During the session she told me that her hummingbird feeder on her porch had suddenly gotten very busy with hummingbirds, more than usual, and at one point she said she noticed a little white "fluff" or feather floated down onto the porch and she told me "I don't know what it is but it's definitely for you". Right about the end of the session there was a tapping on the window I was lying next to - about 15 taps or so but I don't know if it was a large bee or a small bird because the blind was closed. Afterwards, I looked up the symbolism for the things that really stood out during my session:

What Does a Diamond Shape Symbolize?
The diamond symbolizes ascension, clarity and wisdom. The exact meaning can differ between cultures and religions. For example, Native Americans from Canada, Mexico and North America see the diamond as the butterfly and it signifies immortality.

From an alchemist's perspective, the diamond signifies refracting light. This translates into the soul taking a journey to achieve higher understanding to reach clarity and enlightenment. At the end of the path, the soul will sparkle and shine like a diamond. This stone is also the April birthstone and in this sense, it stands for love, strength, eternity and everlasting affection.

The Color Pink:
The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.

Hummingbirds Visiting:
When a loved one has recently passed away, they may be a sign that the loved one has successfully made it to the other side and is doing just fine.

The White Feather:
White feathers are a sign that the angels are with you right now. It signifies comfort, peace, purity, and protection. It’s also one of the most common colors of feathers sent to us by angels on behalf of our deceased loved one.

And who knows about all that strange tapping but it was an unusually 'busy' session as they are most often just quiet with nothing much going on around us. But then you never know what might happen.”

We both felt strongly that their mother was involved, in an unconditional love kind of way, in this session.
I truly felt honored to be a part of it.
