Fun day for us with friends at the Columbia Hunter Jumper Association High Timber Classic. First up was the first property rides and hanging out at the show grounds for Melody and her baby Waffles. Then the little girls Clara and Shiloh crushed leadline and trot poles and earned themselves some trophies. I took Morty for a spin and had some nice rides, my best placing on him in an under saddle to date! Kora took Canmore for a spin in crossrails and equitation and he was a gentleman. Finally Kimberly Lengerich ended the day with some gritty and educational rides for the big guy, was 4th in his first ever Hunter Derby and ended with a lovely smooth round and Champion in the 2’9 Hunters! Thanks to Pam Perkins Raymond, Robin Bhatia, Kelsey McCarty and crew for putting on a fantastic show, and to Sally Collins for judging!
