“The only constant in life is change” spoken by the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. Some changes are welcomed and some come with devastation and paralyzing fear.
My life has taken some interesting turns over the last few years. All that I had held as my foundation crumbled away. I lost my health, my strength, my security and nearly lost my flicker of hope. An interesting phenomenon happens when you are stripped of everything - bare and vulnerable wondering if you were experiencing your last moments on this precious earth. It is a sorrow that is indescribable because you are faced with all the ways you would have lived a bit different - regrets slink in and it is a nasty spiral.
Then when you have reached total surrender, something magic happens. You are shown all the beauty you brought into the world. You notice the simplest of wonders and appreciate them for their ordinary magnificence and give gratitude for being gifted the opportunity to witness them. Be it a sweet pea wrapping its tendrils on a vine, a crocus shooting up from the wintery ground, pink clouds shaped like hearts and the rhythmic breath of your child sleeping.
I will in time share the delicate moments and circumstances that brought me to surrender and how I finally found a way to rise up from my victim mindset of sadness. I will do this in hope that another weary souls could maybe find solace in my journey and know they are not alone.
But for now - I want to simply say thank you to each of you that over the past year or so realized that I had been hiding from the world and reached out to let me know I was in your heart and prayers. It gave me tremendous comfort and fueled me. I cherished your words even if I didn’t write or call back to acknowledge them. You helped save my life.
For that, I am eternally grateful.

As many of you know … this warrior mama has been fighting. As I finally begin to emerge with a glimmer of hope of regaining my health … my body is gifting me with the energy to enter my studio to make a few treasures.

Creating pieces for people who need my message and reminders ignites something in me and fuels my heart. Oh, how I have missed this integral part of my life.

With that said, I will be accepting orders for pickup/meetup only. This is for the people who just need one more special something under the tree or in a stocking! All will be wrapped beautiful & wonderful.
