The Bridge Spokane

Had a blast last Sunday doing a river cleanup with Spokane Riverkeeper] for church!

It’s a very smooth and easy process. They provide all the bags, gloves and trash pickers, plus they get rid of the full trash bags. Special shout out to Emily our volunteer coordinator.

People from all ages helped and quite frankly the little kids were unstoppable, climbing trees to get pieces of garbage.

Spokane Riverkeeper] is doing a great work. Contact them if you’re interested in helping and stay tuned because we will be doing one again soon and you could join us.

Imagine if every church in Spokane took one Sunday a year to help pick up trash… pretty sure that would make an incredible difference in the trash situation.

We are so excited to welcome Mirielle back to our church family after a 4 month trip to Guatemala and Costa Rica!!

Tomorrow Mirielle will be sharing all about her trip and the experiences they had over the past 4 months!

I know Mirielle is excited to share with the church family and I also know its going to be inspiring and exciting for all of us to hear about it.

Honesty in promotion is usually not the best practice. Conventional wisdom is to exaggerate all best qualities.

At The Bride we are taking a different route… the most honest way to describe us is a different kind of church.

We are not claiming to be the best church or the most exciting and certainly not the trendiest but we are simply different.
