Peer support is a wonderful way to connect with others who understand what you are going through. Our free peer support groups offer a safe, trusting, and open environment to discuss mental health. It is always important to remember that it does not replace therapy, rather compliments it! 💚

As Behavioral Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to reflect on some of our favorite moments. . .
We got to meet with the community at our Gather for Good events. This was a perfect opportunity to share our programs with the community. Thank you to for being amazing hosts!
Then, we hosted a mental wellness event at the beautiful Gesa Pavillion. Boldly Balanced was intended for people to take a moment for themselves and their mental wellness. We took the time to share resources, do crafts, and practice yoga! We are so glad that we got to move our bodies with fellow community members! Thank you to Discovery Counseling, Nuestras Raices, Frontier Behavioral Health, Eclipse Power Yoga and Canopy Credit Union for joining us! A special thank you to KeMoni for the beautiful photos of the event.
Later that night, we got to put our dancing shoes on! We partnered with .proof.needed to host the Clear Vibes Silent Disco! 🕺
That weekend, we had the opportunity to attend the Velocity game with to honor Behavioral Health Awareness Month. What a game! âš½
Finally, we ended the month by attending a game. Here, we got to share our resources and pass out our favorite GREEN sunnies! 😎
NAMI Spokane is so grateful for the moments that the community came together this month. Just because May is over, doesn't mean we can forget that mental health conditions are always present. This is a reminder that healing happens in community. 💚
