Institute for Law Teaching and Learning

The directors of ILTL have decided to focus this year’s blog posts on teaching ideas that are easily implemented in the classroom. We will still consider guest blogs and will still review articles we read. You can expect one to two blog posts a month. The latest blogpost can be found at http://lawteaching.org/2021/08/24/precis/. This idea shows us how to use the precis technique to help students understand cases and other texts in a deeper way. Enjoy!
Précis | Institute for Law Teaching and Learning Précis is a French word, pronounced pray-see, that refers to a way of summarizing text to include the meaning of the original text but as concise as possible.
