My baby is growing up so fast! Where did the past 11 months the go?!

When Kris and I became parents, we promised each other we wouldn’t stop doing the stuff we love to do. We would still go on vacations and to sporting events AND we would do ALL these things WITH our son.

Because we made that promise, I got to see first hand the excitement and happiness Kris experienced when we took our son to his first baseball game. He will never admit it, but I know he waited a long time to share this experience with his kid. ❤️

Even though Declan is not old enough to remember this experience, I will hold this memory close forever.

Babe, I’m so glad we are still doing all the things as “Davis, party of 3”. Declan and I love you ❤️

The market in Spokane was a little bit interesting at the beginning of the year. So when Doug started out on his search for his new home in Spokane, he was a little disappointed in what he was not finding. Together we looked at over 15 homes that on paper fit the description of what he wanted. Some were new construction, some were quaint older homes on the South Hill, some were condos in the heart of downtown. But at the end of the day, the inventory was just not what he was looking for.

One day while combing through the MLS to see if I somehow overlooked a listing, I found this beautiful new construction home in the location he desired. Everything was looking good until we saw the price and he wasn't willing to go that much over his budget. A few weeks went by and I noticed it was still active on the market, and they had done a significant price improvement. So Doug and I toured the home and wrote up an offer. The seller declined our original offer, but a week later the list agent called to see if my buyer was still interested in the house! Just like that we were UNDER CONTRACT!

Doug closed on his new house last week and when I gave him the keys to his new house, he was the happiest I'd seen him in weeks!
