Shelby Update -

Shelby's new family has chosen the name Shadow for her because she is their little shadow. Ashley Lister reports that potty training is going well with only a couple of accidents since joining their family. She has a GSP big brother named Roadie (that looks a lot like her mama) that shes become quite fond of. Her brother is helping her learn better social skills and she is very much loving having a loving family and people to call her own. Shes getting all the loves and snuggles a dog could ask for. DGD is elated that Shadow got her happily ever after! 🖤🩶

Congratulations to Steve Barnes and Geillis on their Gotcha Day! I know that you 2 will share many years of love and adventure!

Backstory: About a week ago, I got a call from my Auntie who told me that my cousin Steve had to send 2 of his elderly dogs over the rainbow bridge on the same day due to age related health issues. Anyone that knows Steve knows that his dogs are the center of his world.

Steve has always preferred mixed dogs and rescue so my mind went to Geillis but I wasnt sure if it was too soon to offer. I sat on it for a while and the more I thought about her and Steve, the more sense it made. So, I told him her story and that she was looking for her family. He was smitten and said, "Ill take her!"

This lucky little girl is going to live her best life on a 400ac cattle ranch with the best dad a dog could ask for and spending a lot of time in the great outdoors. She won the doggy lottery! 🖤💜

Geillis

She wanted to be in the shade because its hot today so the lighting isnt great in some of the pics but she sure is cute! Still looking for her people. Shes been started on solo crate training and doing great! Potty training is going pretty well as well!
