This Fourth of July, Bullhead Excavating would like to remind you of two things:

Have fun.

Be safe.

That’s it. That’s the warning. A warning to have fun.

Because nothing says “freedom” like a fully loaded excavator launching skyward in a glorious explosion of dirt, diesel, and questionable engineering.

Will we be rebuilding the lawn? Yes.
Will OSHA have questions? Definitely.
Will we keep showing up with the same energy every time we’re on your site? Absolutely.

Happy Fourth from Bullhead Excavating.
Spirit Lake born. Family built. Built to launch.

Call or text 208-755-0539 before we take off again.

Got land but can’t even drive onto it? No flat spot for your home, trailer, or shop? Trees in the way, soft ground under your tires, or a drainage problem that turns spring into a swamp?

We fix that.

Bullhead Excavating builds driveways that hold up, shop pads that don’t sink, trailer pads that are actually level, and house pads ready to build on. We clear trees and stumps, haul in fill, shape slopes, cut ditches, lay culverts, and prep sites for homes, garages, barns, and outbuildings.

We can:
– Create access to land nobody thought was usable
– Shape and compact pads for trailers, homes, or buildings
– Fix drainage problems and reshape grades to flow right
– Haul in gravel or road mix and spread it clean
– Clear trees, brush, and stumps like they were never there
– Work with weird slopes and tough terrain
– Fix what the last guy did with a rented skid steer and a dream

We cannot:
– Raise your kids (unless they want to rake some gravel)
– Mediate your argument with the neighbor about who owns that fence (unless you're paying double)
– Dig up your ex’s septic tank for revenge (even if it sounds fun)
– Make your cousin’s DIY trench safe (it's safe for him, though)
– Undo whatever your uncle did with that backhoe in 1998 (Or can we?)
– Get your permit pushed through faster (without special arrangements)
– Turn your mud pit into a vineyard overnight (unless you have fully grown plants ready to go in)
– Read your mind if you “forgot to mention” the boulder under your build site (I knew you were hiding it)
– Magically level your lot without moving any dirt
– Work miracles with three inches of topsoil on bedrock (unless a rock hammer is a miracle)
– Or make your friend’s estimate disappear just because it’s lower

But if you want someone who owns their equipment, knows how to use it, shows up when they say they will, and gets the job done the right way—call Bullhead Excavating.

Built in Spirit Lake. Built on doing it right.

Need excavation? Need a log processor? Need both? Give us a call!

Up for sale is a 2006 Madill 1800 equipped with a Satco 323T processing head. Meter reads 7,619 hours, and based on how tight the machine is, that seems believable. The head was manufactured 10/14. It’s been cleaned up, but I’ve left all fluids and filters untouched so buyers can inspect everything as-is.

The machine has no major leaks. Like any processor its age, there’s a bit of seepage, and the swivel head hoses do leak some, but I believe you’re looking at less than a gallon of hydraulic fluid loss over a couple weeks. Machine shows realistic wear, nothing alarming.

The top saw is mounted but does not have a chain, and the bar is slightly bent. Included is a replacement bar, spare chains, and various spare parts for the machine. I left the saw as-is so the buyer can install and sharpen how they see fit.

The undercarriage is in good shape, and overall it’s a clean, solid processor with better-than-average paint for its age, considering 20 years of trees brushing against it.

This machine would be a great fit for someone looking to expand their operation without paying new iron prices. Bring it home, give it a service, and put it to work.
