Saturday’s main event at Auburndale Speedway proved to be eventful with multiple incidents and long caution periods but when the dust settled I found myself with a gain of two positions, fifth best lap, and an overall result of 8th.

Not the finish I was hoping for but the speed we showed this weekend with yet another top ten result is a step in the right direction and something to be proud of.

Big thanks to Auburndale Speedway for hosting a great show and shoutout to Jacob Linc on an outstanding top five finish.

Racing tonight at Auburndale Speedway. I’d like to first thank Two Brothers Motorsports for providing a car for me to race this weekend as I wait for repairs on my own. Confidence is high with the lap times I’m putting in, showing that I am capable of running up front. I’ll be starting 4th in an eight car field for heat number 1, ready to see what we can do.

Moments with the fans Tuesday night: signing autographs, little ones in the car, pics with NASCAR drivers, fun times.

Alright, I’m back. It’s been quite a while but let’s go back to a few weeks ago when I got in the car for the first time since early April to race the Summer Shootout series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. I entered round 6 a little rusty because of the time I sat out after Spring Nationals but with some virtual training thanks to Jacob Peddycord and the confidence that came with it, I was back up to speed and finished 13th. Testing followed later in the week at Wake County Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway to get more track time before round 7 where I unfortunately suffered a transmission failure mid race.

Now recently I competed in the last race of the Summer Shootout Tuesday which was a very eventful evening and a night to remember. Things kicked off Monday with practice which saw me beat personal bests and prove that I had the speed heading into championship night. Track was wet for qualifying so we slapped rain tires on and qualified 11th. The track was dry going into the race which provided a lot of action. Had a top five in the books until a mistake cost me. In the end my result was P9 with work to do and lots to look forward to.

Next event is a doubleheader on Saturday in Virginia at Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania Virginia.

A last minute decision yesterday lead to purchasing tickets for my first Indianapolis 500. We have arrived at Indianapolis Motor Speedway ready to see the greatest spectacle in racing. Stay tuned.

First 2 rounds of Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati’s ProAm Championship complete. I didn’t put practice in on Friday due to not wanting to drive in the rain.😅 So I ended up winging it for the first race on Saturday. Didn’t make a lap in qualifying because of a spin and not being able to make it back out. Started in the back of a ten kart field for the pre-final gaining six positions on the first lap then crossing the finish line 5th. Ended up watching the entire final on the racetrack because my throttle cable snapped on the out lap but those things happen. The day got better though as I collected some hardware that evening for my third place result in the championship last year.

Started 7th finished 7th in my pre-final yesterday but was then disqualified shortly after due to being 2 pounds under weight. So I started the final from the rear and fought a hard race to finish P6.

Big thanks to everyone at Adrenaline Fix Karting for their help and support and to Tyler Prestel for the amazing coaching that gave me the success in the final yesterday.

Overall a solid outing for my first kart races of 2025 and I will be back.👊

Going karting tomorrow at Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati for rounds 1 and 2 of their ProAm Karting Championship. All races will be live on Kart Chaser via YouTube.

And I never posted an update on last week’s spring nationals. It was a big learning experience with many highs and lows resulting in three out of the five races being DNFs but I’ve moved on from that and ready to have some fun in a go-kart this weekend.

A solid 12th place yesterday at Veterans Motorplex.

Unfortunately my race ended on lap 2 this morning. After finishing a disappointing qualifying session which put me near the back, I was involved in a wreck early in the race that surely did some damage but we repaired the car in less than three hours and turned my day around with some solid practice laps this afternoon. This was only race one so my confidence is high as I know that I still have a fast car with much more racing to come.
