Well here we are on a beautiful Sunday morning, and our neighbors are finishing up their live burn training at the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy. They could have been home sleeping in late, but they chose to volunteer for more training to help them serve our community.

The Hickory Valley Volunteer Fire Department Junior Firefighters had some great realistic, and strenuous training today. Firefighters Dewayne Mace, and Pierce Brown put the young Caden Mace, and Dravin Margeson through the paces. It was a good day to train.
We appreciate the enthusiasm and commitment made by the young gentleman.

Last night the Hickory Valley Volunteer Fire Department enjoyed its annual Christmas Dinner

We were blessed to have among us several of our Founding Members of the Department.

Thank you to all that attended, and to Dave Copeland for reaching out to our Founding members.

All of our Turkeys have been sold so we are no longer taking orders for Thanksgiving Turkeys.
