Save the Date!

Students who make a 5 on at least one of this year's AP exams (and their parents) are invited to join us for a celebratory lunch on Thursday, July 9th, @ 12:00 in the cafeteria. Scores release on July 6, so be on the look-out for an email from Dr. McNellage that same day!

New Teacher Spotlight!

Hello! My name is Andrea Powell, and I am super excited to begin this new chapter at Spanish Fort High School, where I will be teaching science and serving as the head girls’ basketball coach and assistant track coach.

Before joining Spanish Fort, I spent the past four years at Vigor High School as a science teacher and head girls’ basketball coach.

I am a proud mother of two amazing children, Brennan and Aubrey, who both share my love for sports. When I’m not in the classroom or on the court, I enjoy working out, spending quality time with my family, and supporting my children in their activities.

I look forward to building strong relationships within the Spanish Fort community and helping our students achieve success in the classroom, in competition, and in life.

Congrats to Sam Wilber for being named to the AHSAA Cross Country All-Star Team! Sam will compete in the All-Star race on July 21st in Montgomery representing the South team. Way to go Sam!
