Southington Bread For Life

Special thanks to Plantsville Congregational UCC and The Friends Room for their donation to our Summer Lunch Program! Members of the church donated items and bags, while participants from The Friends Room packed lunch bags for our youth. We will add the entree and watch our guests enjoy a nutritous and delicious lunch!

Bread for Life is so thankful to Southingtonschools Kelley School "Be Kind Club" for putting together these amazing bags to be handed out for our summer lunch program. You all are Shining Stars!

Our Summer Lunch program begins on Monday, and we just received this great donation from Walmart of Southington for programming! In addition to exciting opportunities from local organizations, our guests will also have a chance to make bracelets and complete other crafts!

What a great surprise! We had a visit from past Board Member and dedicated volunteer, Tom Finn! It was such a blessing to have him in the building; as always, a "breath of fresh air and peace"! We miss Tom so much, and we're so grateful he stopped by!

We've recently received several inquiries about our most-needed items, so we wanted to share those here.
Donations can be dropped off at our building during business hours. (Please do not leave donations outside after hours.)
We also have Amazon and Wal-Mart wish lists that can be used to order and shipped directly to us.
