Painful pe*******on is NEVER👏 NORMAL👏. PERIOD.

Vaginismus is a condition in which the pelvic floor muscles involuntarily tighten which results in painful pe*******on.

This effects sexual activity, tampon insertion, and ability to have pelvic exams by your OB/GYN.

It occurs for a number of reasons including: past history of sexual or medical trauma, religious/societal beliefs that involve shaming sexual wants and desires, inflammatory conditions, and more .

If you are experiencing any symptoms of vaginismus, please seek out a pelvic health specialist. You are not alone and you don't have to continue to live this way.
