🎓🇺🇸 Graduation Parties, Cookouts & Fourth of July Fun—Keep Pets Safe This Summer! 🐾☀️

Summer celebrations are full of family, friends, food, and fireworks—but they can also pose hidden dangers for our furry companions.

🐶 Pet Safety Tips:
🍔 Keep table scraps out of reach. Fatty foods, bones, corn cobs, onions, grapes, raisins, chocolate, and alcohol can be dangerous or even toxic to pets.
🌭 Secure trash cans and food platters—counter surfers are always on the lookout for a snack!
🚪 Be mindful of open gates, doors, and fences. Extra guests mean more opportunities for curious pets to slip away.
💧 Provide plenty of fresh water and a cool, shaded place to relax.
🎆 Fireworks can be frightening. Keep pets indoors, ensure they have ID tags, and create a quiet, safe space away from the noise.
🎓 If you’re hosting a graduation party, remind guests not to feed pets treats without permission.

🐾 Dog Park Safety Tips 🐾

Dog parks can be a great place for exercise, socialization, and fun—but it’s important to keep safety in mind! 🐶💙

Before heading to the park:
✔️ Make sure your dog is up-to-date on vaccines and parasite prevention.
✔️ Bring fresh water and take breaks when needed.
✔️ Watch for signs of stress, fear, or overstimulation.
✔️ Supervise play closely and be ready to step in if play becomes too rough.
✔️ If your dog isn’t feeling well, skip the park and rest at home.

Remember: Not every dog enjoys the dog park, and that’s okay! The best outing is one where your pup feels safe, happy, and comfortable. 🐕✨
