Having fun and calming stress before the show yesterday. 😂

Remember, friends, as many gather with family with varying dynamics, that everyone loves in the best way their system allows… the best way they know how.

Instead of “they don’t love me”, try “they don’t know how to show love for me in a way that I’m able to feel it”.

This doesn’t take away the responsibility for each of us to heal and learn how we can express love better. We are all accountable for ourselves.

This also doesn’t null the need for boundaries, both internal and external.

It does, however, bring peace and empathy to our own systems… allowing us to be present and acknowledge that we are lovable and loved.

It brings us into a space of seeing the imperfect human in everyone, releasing the power from tension and condescension.

May you have the courage to stand firmly in love this season.
