It’s Weekly Wellness time!

If you’re avoiding planning your week, this is probably why.

It’s not disorganization.It’s not laziness.
It’s that you don’t want to see how much there is.

I’ve felt that dread just opening my notebook. The thought: “It’s too much. I don’t even want to look.”

But the overwhelm wasn’t the work.It was the work being undefined.

When everything lives in your head, it feels infinite.
When it lives on your calendar, it has edges.

Planning didn’t reduce my workload. It reduced my anxiety.

I slept better. I was more intentional. I made it to the gym.
If you’re resisting planning, try this:
“I’m not doing this to judge myself. I’m doing this to support myself.”

You don’t need a perfect week. You need containment.
Because when you refuse to look at your workload, it doesn’t shrink.
It just lives in your nervous system.

As attorneys, we don’t just manage cases. We manage capacity.

Planning isn’t about control.
It’s about protecting your energy so you can do the work well — and rest when it’s done.
