We are thrilled to welcome Michelle Bui to the YFAMily! ❤️‍🔥

Michelle is a trauma-informed yoga teacher with more than 12 years of experience bringing yoga and meditation into jails, prisons, juvenile facilities, and trauma centers across Los Angeles, Chicago, and the Bay Area.

She has taught with organizations such as Uprising Yoga and Prison Yoga Chicago, where she also served on the board for five years, supporting program development, marketing, fundraising, and community partnerships.

Michelle’s work centers on bringing breath, movement, and mindfulness into high-stress and underserved environments, expanding access to these practices where they are often unavailable, and empowering people to feel more deeply connected to themselves.

The organized the 56th annual Juvenile Court, Community and Alternative School Administrators of California (JCCASAC) Conference up in San Francisco this week, and we were so honored to be a part of it. Thank you for the opportunity to not only attend and network with leaders in education, but also to lead 4 sessions:
