🚶 Help shape the future of walking in Assembly Square!

Join Assembly Connect, the Somerville Pedestrian & Transit Advisory Committee (PTAC), Somerville Alliance for Safe Streets (SASS), and Groundwork Somerville for a community walk audit of Assembly Square.

Together, we'll assess how safe, accessible, comfortable, and inviting it is to walk in the neighborhood while identifying opportunities to improve connections to the rest of Somerville. Your feedback will help inform future planning efforts and be shared with local decision-makers.

Participants will choose one of two walking routes from The Lawn on Foley Street to Foss Park, with each route taking approximately 75 minutes. Please be prepared to walk or stand for the duration of the event.

Whether you walk, bike, take transit, or drive, your perspective matters. Come help us create a safer, more connected Assembly Square!
