Can you guess how many foils I did to make it look like she got a full foil?

In total we only did 20 foils for this appointment! Over foiling has ALWAYS been a big struggle for me, so recently I’ve been trying to tweak my technique and place my foils with intention.

Being very observant of how the hair falls naturally is so helpful in choosing where to place foils to give your client the desired end result. And it’s so important to remember that dimension helps to make the brighter pieces pop (especially for your bright blondes)

Perfect red for the holidays 🎄

My client didn’t want to put anymore bleach on her hair because it was over processed and had previous breakage. I went in w/ a root shadow to soften her natural grow out then did a glaze to deepen the color on her ends.

We also wanted to keep as much length while keeping it healthy, so I used the longest length of her sides to use as the length of the perimeter.
