In collaboration with the 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺, this year's interactive historical experiences invite you to explore the many meanings of REVolution through creativity, storytelling, and participation.

Visit the Somerville Museum table in front of the Somerville Theatre to experience 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲—a vintage phone installation featuring contemporary recorded messages inspired by this year's theme. ☎️

The Somerville Museum will also bring history to life throughout the festival with:
* Historical figures traveling through time to deliver 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 8-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗽𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 throughout the day. 🎤
* Festival 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆-𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, bringing history to life in unexpected places. 🗿

Then, as you explore ArtBeat, keep an eye out for even more historical surprises:
🏰 The 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁, stationed next to the Elm Street Stage throughout the day before joining the Community Parade at 5:00 PM.
📣 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿, sharing announcements and adding a touch of Revolutionary spirit throughout the festival.

The rhythms of the games are coming to City Hall!

Our Global Grooves performances mix musical influences from the UK, Jamaica, France, Persia, and more in a celebration honoring both global soccer culture and Somerville’s vibrant communities.

In addition to music from around the world, Global Grooves: Rhythms of the Game will feature games, food, and vendors in an afternoon of all-ages fun on Saturday, July 11th from 12-4PM (severe weather date: July 12th).
