Our Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll has been a leader for affordability, education, and our cities! 🌟 From helping to pass the Affordable Homes act which made it substantially easier for cities and towns to build multi-family housing, to legalizing ADUs to sending cities and towns like Somerville more funding annually for accessibility and road and bridge repairs. We're proud to endorse her and Gov. Healey for another 4 years!

Citizens United made it legal and easy for anonymous groups and corporations to buy elections. But in Somerville this year, all 7 State Rep candidates stepped up to sign a "People's Pledge" for the Sept. 1 Democratic primary in an effort to block Super PACs and dark money spending.

This will be one of the first successfully negotiated "People's Pledges" since Senators Warren and Markey used agreements in their respective senate races. Thank you to all 9 candidates running for the General Court in Somerville who were willing to take a stand and do something meaningful to give power back to voters!
