Somerville folks — Election Day is Tuesday!🗳️ I’m not on the ballot this year, but I’m proud to support some incredible candidates:

💚 Ward 7 City Councilor: I wholeheartedly endorse Emily Hardt for Somerville Ward 7 -- a parent, teacher, former union organizer, and nonprofit leader who has called Somerville home for 20+ years. Emily is deeply committed to housing, climate justice, and inclusive community engagement. She builds coalitions, gets things done, and leads with integrity and compassion — exactly the kind of leader Somerville needs.

🌟 City Council At-Large:
Councilor Kristen Strezo, Somerville City Councilor At-Large — my former colleague and a tireless advocate for women, children, families, and seniors. Her voice on the Council is essential.
Jack Perenick — a thoughtful, knowledgeable leader who understands how to make local government work for people. He’ll be a great addition to the Council.

🏙️ For Mayor: I’m proud to support Jake Wilson for Mayor of Somerville. I’ve seen Jake’s leadership firsthand on the Finance Committee — he listens, manages with skill, and always shows up for our community. He’s ready to hit the ground running and bring steady, accessible leadership to City Hall. (And now that my son Isaac is in toddler soccer, I have a new appreciation for Jake’s years of running Somerville Youth Soccer! ⚽)

📜 Ballot Question 1 — YES!
Somerville’s new charter is a long-overdue update that modernizes our 1899 charter with clear language, stronger transparency, and real accountability. A Yes vote means a charter built for today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities.

🚫 Ballot Question 3 — NO!
Question 3 is illegal, discriminatory, and divisive. It’s been described by canvassers as a “boycott of Jewish businesses” and distracts from critical local issues like housing, schools, and public health. Somerville deserves better. I’m voting No to keep our city focused on inclusion, unity, and progress — for my son Isaac’s generation and beyond.
