Acceptance to The Ailey School programs for the 2021 Summer Intensive and the 2021-2022 school year is by video audition only.

For students ages 17 to 25, The Ailey School offers an exciting 2-week, in-person session located in the heart of New York City's theater district. A Virtual Horton Technique Workshop is also being offered.

For advanced/beginner to intermediate level students ages 17-23 who have completed their secondary school requirements, this program takes a conservatory approach to dance training, combining technique dance academics, creative studies, and repertory and performance.

For students between the ages of 17 and 25 who have completed their secondary school requirements, this program offers intensive training for those who wish to further develop their artistry and technical skills in order to enhance their professional potential. The program may also assist those who wish to gain admission to other advanced dance programs.
