I got a “good job” at the end 😅

Tower had initially set me up for 4R along with all the heavies and I was trying my best to keep up. I appreciated they moving me over to the other runway.

Big shout out to the awesome controllers at EWR! It was fun flying in for the first time 🤘🏻

What a difference 😮

Landing at my home airport at night is an adventure: wildlife always hanging around, the “black hole” illusion due to mostly farmland around it and trees near one of the thresholds.

So having a good landing light is a personal must. I just finishes upgrading to a new SunSpot 36 and I couldn’t be happier!

This is part 1 of a bigger upgrade: next I’ll have new wingtip landing lights installed as well, and that will make a world of difference, too. It requires an STC and many hours of labor, so there’s some downtime involved and I just need to figure out timing and my A&P’s schedule.
