The best way to understand The Run Rx?

Hear it from the runners themselves.

From injury recovery to race-day confidence, every experience is different—but the goal is the same: helping runners get back to doing what they love.

90–100°F temperatures are here this week...which means your running plan should probably change. ☀️🥵
When the weather gets this hot, trying to force your usual pace can do more harm than good. Heat places extra stress on your body, increases your heart rate, and makes every mile feel harder—even if your fitness hasn't changed.

If you're running this week, keep these tips in mind:
💧 Stay hydrated before, during, and after your run.
⏱️ Run by effort (RPE) instead of chasing your normal pace.
🌅 Choose early mornings, evenings, or shaded routes whenever possible.
🏃 Consider shortening or modifying your run if conditions are especially hot and humid.
🚩 Know the warning signs of heat illness—and don't ignore them.

Training smart in the heat isn't about pushing through discomfort. It's about making the adjustments that let you stay healthy, recover well, and keep running all summer long.
Save this post for your next run, and share it with a training partner who's braving the heat this week. ☀️
