When your team is stretched thin, engagement can’t be the first thing to go.
In senior living, activities aren’t a “nice-to-have”but rather a lifeline. Residents depend on connection, purpose, and daily joy. But with caregiver shortages, rising acuity, and endless documentation, life enrichment often gets pushed aside.
Here’s the truth: keeping your calendar full when you’re short-staffed isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity.
In our latest post, we’re sharing realistic ways to protect meaningful engagement—even when time and hands are in short supply.
Let us help you design an effective strategy that feels natural and meaningful for your community! 🩵

Our Head of Marketing & Partnerships, Nicole Will, had a wonderful time visiting our partners at Monarch Healthcare Management in Duluth.
Melissa from the team shared something truly special about Rendever Fit, one of her residents uses it and cries happy tears every time. Why? Because it reminds her of biking, a joy she thought she’d left behind!🚴🏻
And in another room, a resident playing I Spy kept saying, “I love it! I love it!”
These aren’t just features or outcomes. They’re moments of connection, joy, and memory. That’s the heart of what we do.
Thank you, Monarch Healthcare, for letting us witness the real impact of Rendever. 🩵
Exciting News!
Rendever’s Dementia & Empathy Training has been named a finalist for the Auggie Awards in the Best Education & Training Solutions category! 🩵
This immersive VR training was developed to address a critical gap in dementia care. With 7.4 million Americans living with dementia, and no cure currently available, caregivers often struggle to interpret behavioral changes or provide effective, compassionate support. As symptoms progress, individuals living with dementia can feel increasingly disconnected from their environment.
Our solution places caregivers directly in the experience of navigating everyday tasks as cognitive decline advances. The goal is not simply to inform, but to build radical, experiential empathy. Through partnerships with trusted organizations across the U.S., the training is helping create more dementia-informed communities—improving patient-caregiver communication, reducing frustration, and elevating the standard of compassionate care.
Recognition as an Auggie Award finalist reflects the urgency and importance of this work.
Winners will be announced on June 11th at the AWE conference. 👏 Thank you to everyone supporting our mission and shoutout to our incredible team!

Social isolation is more dangerous than many realize.
As The New York Times reported in the recent article we were highlighted in:
“Social disconnection can have the same impact on mortality as smoking up to 15 ci******es a day.”
It’s also linked to a 50% higher risk of and a 32% higher risk of stroke.
That’s why we’re on a mission to end senior isolation through shared virtual reality experiences. 🧠🌍
