The Rozzie Square Theater has a New Home - Help Make it Ours 03/17/2026

The Rozzie Square Theater is undergoing renovations and transitioning to a new home. If you're able to, I'd love for you to check out their Kickstarter and consider supporting them.

The Rozzie was the Magic Lab's home for six years before we moved to the Foundry in Cambridge. It's where the first Magic Lab happened, where the first (virtual) Chemystery came to life, and where Lightning Round got its start.

The Rozzie shaped us in ways that go beyond the stage. Our values as a community are a direct reflection of theirs. And I (Felice!) personally have learned so much from watching how Courtney Pong leads.

The Magic Lab might not still be at the Rozzie today but I will always consider us to be a part of the same community.

Here's the Kickstarter:

Magic Labs now kick off with close-up magic before the stage show. At Magic Lab: Pub Night, we had THREE magicians roving the pub sharing magic with people as they trickled in.

With underground card legend Tony Cabral managing this team of close-up performers, you're going to want to show up early to catch this show before the show.

March's Magic Lab featured magicians Nicholas Kerpan, Georgia Blunt, AND Tony Cabral himself.

Magic Lab: Pub Night is approaching soon! If you're still on the fence about going, check out these photos from our February Magic Lab.

It was a night to remember. The first performer of this past Lab was the host of GBH's All Things Considered -- and he performed his dramatic set against the backdrop of the daily news. In this show we also debated if Abraham Lincoln was a magician (evidence: his hat), learned about the existence of giant rubber bands, closely avoided death by ice pick, dreamed a dream of a stage manager becoming a magician, played with wooden sticks, and went back to a time when we were just learning how to speak.
